Vans

Vans was founded in 1966 by brothers Paul Van Doren & James Van Doren, in Anaheim, California. Originally named the Van Doren Rubber Company, they started by making shoes directly for customers at their store. The iconic Vans “Authentic” shoe, originally called the #44 Deck Shoe, was their first design. Vans became popular among Skateboarders in the 1970s due to their durable construction and sticky rubber soles. Over the years, Vans has expanded its product line and become a cultural icon, known for its distinctive styles and collaborations in Music, Art, Board Sports, BMX & Motocross.
